Proudly born and raised in
Exeter ON, Jim attended Exeter P.S. and South Huron D.H.S. In 1960, he joined the London Police
Force, spending most of his career as a Detective Sergeant in Forensic
Identification. He retired in 1992, after 32.5 years of service.

The sun-catcher Jim made for
the Jessica’s House fundraiser took approximately thirty-five hours to
produce. He was very pleased to be
able to include 100+ year-old glass that originated right in Exeter. The red daisies on the left side of the
glass have streaked, yellow centers; these glass pieces are from a window of a
house that stands at the south end of Exeter.
"All things bright and
beautiful" are sometimes enhanced with age.
